WebJul 16, 2024 · CEM26 is taller so a long refractor is easier and less likely to hit the ground or the tripod. (that's with respect to the AM5 recommended carbon fiber tripod, which is very short). I've pretty much now established that it isnt backlash. Atleast not proper backlash. No matter the adjustment I make I can never get any movement or noise of gears hitting on the dec head.
