Add white wine to the pot, turn heat to high, and let reduce by half. Mix in all-purpose flour and cook on medium heat for30 seconds. Add cream to the pot and finish with Old Bay seasoning. WebOff heat, cover the pot and allow the chowder to ripen for 15 or 20 minutes before serving. Ladle into warmed soup plates, and sprinkle snipped chives over each serving.
