Since the … WebI've been doing Satellite installs in Frozen North East for years. we only bury them below the sod about 4" 6" if the ground is soft and no one ever had any problem with frost. I wouldn't waste my time burying it deep. I use a flat ice breaker split open the sod and bury it.
