A ska and rocksteady pioneer, after a short stint with Mango Records in the ’70s, he returned to the studio to record material for Nighthawk Records. WebbHe recorded seventy singles between 1964 and 1966, and was the most popular artist on the record label. \n Biography\nHinds was born in Steertown, Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica in 1942.
